Volunteer
We love our volunteers! With your support we are able to serve our wonderful foster, adoptive, and kinship families. We welcome individuals and group volunteers. Kids are also invited to volunteer, 16 and under need adult supervision. Please join our Facebook group and sign up to volunteer at our upcoming events.
Examples of volunteer opportunities are:
- Shoppers – during open hours assist our families to shop for the items they need
- Organizers – sort and organize closet donations, help organize the closet’s various rooms
- Special Event Volunteers – keep an eye on our Facebook page for news about events
- Other opportunities for group volunteers – contact us via our Facebook or Instagram pages

For the latests updates join our group on Facebook.
We accept donations of items in good condition for children ages 0-18 (sizes preemie to youth plus) including but not limited to clothes, shoes, toys, books, diapers, and other baby supplies. Formula and baby food are always welcome.

Amazon Wish List
You can also support us by visiting our Amazon Wish List! Our list is updated with items of greatest need at the closet. We always welcome diapers and wipes of all kinds! All items donated through our Amazon Wish List will be shipped directly to Oak Forest Foster Closet to be distributed to our foster, adoptive, and kinship families.
